About me.

I’m a nonprofit professional based in Tulsa with a heart for community impact and a passion for youth, education, and equity. As the Development and Partnerships Specialist at The Opportunity Project, I work to expand access to out-of-school learning by building strong, values-driven partnerships that support every child’s potential.

My journey began in the classroom as a 5th-grade teacher. This experience sparked my commitment to public service and laid the foundation for a career in the nonprofit sector. Since then, I’ve grown my expertise in fundraising, nonprofit communications, program and partnership development, and community engagement. I love solving problems, telling stories that matter, and creating strategies that make a real difference.

Whether I’m designing a fundraising campaign, planning a community initiative, or crafting a compelling grant proposal, I bring creativity, collaboration, and purpose to everything I do.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me reading, making pottery, or spending time with my rescue pup. I’m also an active member of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church and I love traveling and spending intentional quality-time with my friends, family, and spouse.

What I believe.

I believe in choosing a few things to care deeply about—not because everything else is unimportant, but because focus gives us power.

In a world that often feels overwhelming and urgent, narrowing our scope can be an act of clarity and courage. When we know what matters most, we can move through life with greater intention: in how we spend our time, what we speak up about, where we give, and what we let go of.

For me, that focus has meant anchoring to four core values and causes:

  • Equity in Learning

  • Reproductive Justice & Child Loss Awareness

  • LGBTQ and Women's Rights

  • Pet Adoption Advocacy

These are the areas where I feel most called to act, give, and grow.

I believe that when we lead with what we truly care about, our “yes” becomes more meaningful—and our “no” more peaceful.
